Elegant aromas of dark berry fruits and underlying subtle oak. The palate is dark and brooding with characters of of ripe black plums and blackcurrants with a toasty oak note lingering on the finish.
The free draining gravel type soil in the Hawke’s Bay, combined with the climate are the perfect mix for the growth of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The fruit was carefully monitored during ripening and harvested in the cool evening at maximum flavour maturing and physiological ripeness.
Food Pairing: Matched perfectly with Spicy lamb stew and crispy potatoes.
