The Story

"Sweetly ripe and immediately appealing with ripe cherry, smoky bacon, olive and almond notes, it's succulent and smooth in the mouth delivering juicy fruit flavours with silky tannins, offering delightful drinking. At its best: now to 2025" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Apr 2023

Aromas of gorgeous raspberries and rose petal combine with aromatic spices. The palate is warm and smooth with an explosion of boysenberries and dark cherry. These fruit flavours are combined with balanced acidity, fine structured tannin and a smooth textured finish. Drink now or patient cellaring will reward over the next five years.

The fruit was sourced from a number of specifically chosen low cropping vineyards from the Southern Valleys region of Marlborough. Once harvested this wine underwent 100% malolactic fermentation before being blended, fined, lightly filtered and gently prepared for bottling.

Food Pairing: Well matched with filet mignon.
