The Story

"Elegant and attractively styled, showing sweet cherry, olive, dried herb and roasted nut characters. The palate offers supple mouthfeel with ripe berry flavours backed by fine-grained tannins, making it approachable and enjoyable. At its best: now to 2025" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Apr 2023

Fruit driven in style with delicious raspberries and red cherry and a hint of subtle spice. Finely balanced acidity leads to delicious round full palate with a silky texture and soft tannins. Drinking beautifully from the outset, this wine will mature into a fuller, more complex wine that can be enjoyed over the next five years.

Fruit for this wine was sourced from some specifically chosen vineyards from Marlborough’s wine region.

A portion of the wine was aged in a mixture of new and older seasoned French oak and the rest in stainless steel tanks.

Food Pairing: Well matched with chicken Marsala and a creamy mustard sauce.
